The majority of the audience are attracted to popular mainstream indie band The Kings Of Leon are a major attraction to my magazine. Especially when they read that Audio mag have had a one-on-one interview with the band, and for the information to be given to them makes them feel they are getting a closer relationship with The Kings Of Leon making this section attractive for the audience.

With my magazine offering a small taste of the acts featuring in Vestival it engages them to want to find out where the rest are .

Marketing & Promotion•Facebook•Audio mag website•Vfestival•Popular artists•Online Subscription delivered

•My magazine representation is aimed at a consumer audience of around 16-26. Through research on http://www.clickymedia.co.uk/2010/08/uk-facebook-statistics-for-august-2010/ I can gather reliable information that approximately 19million people aged 13-29 have active Facebook accounts. Taking into consideration that my main target audience is between 16-26, there will be people up and below the boundaries and will increase the amount of people I could attract by using Facebook as a promotion area.

•Such thing as an ‘Audio mag’ page on Facebook which could advertise the magazine, marketing features and partnership.•Viral advertisement is a cheap way to market globally and would be an essential part of promotion.

•Another valuable part of promotion lies within search engine marketing which makes my product feature higher when they search relevant words like ‘music’, ‘magazine’ ect. They will be able to spot my magazine over other magazines i am competing with.

•Like the majority of existing magazines like the same style as mine offer an official website in where they can find information about the magazine, previous covers, ticket news, artist news and subscription information. I would follow these conventions with my magazine as they fit popular with the target audience .

•However there are certain features i would add which i feel would make the online website better.

• Official link to a popular music festival like Vfestival in which the target audience find out line-up information before anyone else for every AudioMag 6/12-Month members. Also 10% off one ticket to the festival for those who are Gold members and pay a bit extra for a 12-Month membership who also get other offers featured in the magazine. This idea will advertise Vfestival all year round and would make a good selling point to the target audience who will create the connection with Vfestival and Audio in a positive perspective and with the offer making them more likely to buy this magazine than an alternate existing magazine that does not include this feature.

• Making the magazine promote the 12-month membership the recipient of a 12-month membership collects the front cover of each magazine and posts them back they get them signed by artists off the artists on the front covers+ an invitation ticket to an Audio gig featuring Audio’s favourite artists of they year playing.

• An associated partnership with a top download software company like Apple (iTunes) or Spotify who are a newly rising UK company which could promote them world-wide.

• Students get 20% off 12-month subscriptions. However from researching existing membership prices and trying to promote my magazine as a sophisticated but user-friendly magazine I will offer the normal price higher at around £35 per year, but because my target audience are mainly all students they will receive this offer and get a subscription for £28 which is a significant drop in price and they will be more inclined to pay for it as it is a significant price drop and just below the price of Q magazine.

• All subscriptions online or 1-off buys online get delivery for £0.99 and receive the magazine in a sleeve colour in which there magazine fall under these worldwide editions:

Gold-Limitied edition White- UK edition Black Europe edition Purple- USA edition Yellow-Asia edition(If i were to do this for real I would change languages and layout, these pictures give representations of the basic aesthetic layout of this edition of the magazine.)
