How to play the game

1 The object of the game is to join two sides of the grid together by winning a line of cells:

Team A have to join the top of the grid to the bottom with a continuous line of cells. Team B have to join one side of the grid to the other.

2 Toss a coin to see which team goes first. The first team to play select any one of the numbered hexagons. Your teacher will read out a phrase, and your team must complete the phrase with a question tag.

3 Each time you correctly complete a phrase with a question tag, that cell can be marked with your team’s colour.

4 If a team answers incorrectly the cell they have chosen is not coloured. It is then the turn of the other team, who can choose any of the free cells.

5 The winner is the first team to connect two sides of the grid successfully.
