Questions of the Grave أسئلة القبر

November 17, 2016/ Safar 17, 1438 Reminder: Remember KhuayatulAllah- we need it, we abstain from the sin because one day I will need Allah, one day I will be alone. The way Allah created us, that’s how we will be in the grave. May Allah make our grave like Paradise. This is the reality. When reality comes, I will be ghani (rich), because I don’t need anything in my life. They don’t positions or money, they only want hasanat. Who is your Lord? My Lord is the Lord of all the world. He is taking care of me, nurture me and everyone around me. Everyone go their way. For you, with people is just reminder- taking and giving reminder. Not to interfere. Everything is so clear about His ayah. Don’t connect to anyone except Allah.

What is your religion? We need to be firm about it. Know the answer and apply it in your life. Islam is to submit and to free yourself from the shirk and people and all that they deny. There are levels of Islam: Islam, Iman, and Ihsan. The door is the Shahadatain. If I’m not a Muslim, then all the Hajj, all the prayers, all the other things in my life is not important, even belief in angels is not important. Salah is our connection with Allah. Five times a day we connect with Allah. We talked about the Salah, Surah Al-Maarij. Your balance behavior and your balance reaction comes from you connection with Allah in the Salah. If you're connection is good, then your behavior is good. This is big honor. Allah will really make you a balanced person in your emotion. Salah is the mother of all worship.

Shahadatain is your contract Salah is your Connection with Allah Zakah is Connection with the people.

Az-Zakat You will get increment and growth. Zakah comes from Tazkiyah meaning purification. It gives it to you in increments. If I’m not really doing tazkiyah an-nafs, (I’m not looking at myself, I’m looking at other people) you will not grow. If you keep changing the outside without inside, you will never be pleased. If you want to change, change within and Allah will change your situation. So we have to be patient. This is your husband, this is your children, this is your boss, this is your school. Be patient. We’ll try with something physical. Money is something tangible. You want to get that purification with your relations with people (I don’t want to just snatch and take, etc) then practice Arkan Islam. Zakah is the main thing of how your relationship is with people. Maal can be money, properties, etc. Maal means something you inclined to. What do you need to do with your Maal? 2.5% percent of your wealth to the poor, needy, and others who deserve it. The small

amount you take from your wealth is teaching you tazkiyah of your maal, of your nafs. People are fitnah to you, so you give Afw- 2.5%. Zakah, this 2.5%, is purifying you and purifying to society. Purifying the rich people from greed, miser, pride, arrogance, etc. At the same time, this 2.5% if you give to the poor, needy, the ones who Allah said in the Quran for who to give. How will it purify them? Purify them from Hasad, comparing, from hating the rich people. That’s why in the society that does not have zakah are very corrupted. The rich look down on the poor, the poor hate the rich and steal and cheat. Az-zakat purifies all of society. The giver and all of society. Allah commanding An-Nabi, to take many from the rich like Zakah. The Prophet SallAllahu Alayhi wa Salam would designate some Sahabah collecting the zakat. This will also help them and purify them.

Take Sadaqah (alms) from their wealth in order to purify them and sanctify them with it, and invoke Allah for them. Verily! Your invocations are a source of security for them, and

Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower. (Al-Tawbah 103)

All the things between the people is purifying you. When you do good to the people, it’s purifying you. In the kaabah, maybe a man will be rich but you see him cleaning the floor, giving tissue to people, giving water. They asked how is An-Nabi in his house. He is helping his wives. This work, you don’t know how it can clean you. Also, don’t say the good deeds that you do. Starting from obligatory. Arkan Islam are the foundations and pillar of so many other things. The shahadatain has so many explanations. The Salah is the connection with Allah, if this is correct, it will correct everything else. The Zakah is connection between and you and society.

Your wealth and your children are only a trial, whereas Allah! With Him is a great reward

(Paradise). (64:15)

And you love wealth with much love! (89:20)

Wealth and Children is a fitnah for us. When people cannot deal with others, then they end up stay at home and they are not getting better. You see yourself as really good because no nurturing. To be with people and to be patient is better than staying home. It is difficult but we have to be patient. This is reforming. When we cannot be reform anymore, we will die. Meaning we cannot be increased or decreased after this point. Allah knows us and knows if there are more ayat, it wouldn’t change us. If you do more exam, they will not do better or worse. This is your level. May Allah make us the life easy for us, may Allah not make us la’ib (play), to be reformed from inside. We should do good deeds because later we might not be able to do, poverty, or richness, or death or Day of Judgement or sickness. Either poverty will come which make us thinking about my poverty. Your test will be I want to earn, or before richness will come and make a person transgress and make you forget. Hasten to do good deeds, keep moving. Don’t look right and left and what people are doing. Connection between you and Allah, connection between you and the people. In the Quran, hastiness is not good. But with the forgiveness and good deeds then be hasty, don’t delay. Instead of being hasty with money, children, salary, etc. Be hasty with the good deeds.
