• Pop Art Subject Matter:– Advertising– Famous people– Movies– Famous brands “Kikimo”

• We’ll be using Andy Warhol’s pop art method to recreate images of famous actors and American icons

OBJECTIVE: ANALOGOUS COLORS
• We will choose analogous colors for our pop star image
• Analogous Color: colors that are closely together on the color wheel or closely related– Examples
• Red Violet, Red, Red Orange
• Blue, Blue Green, Green
• Yellow Green, Green, Yellow

• Using tracing paper and an ebony pencil trace over the image you have chosen

EASY PORTRAIT: STEP TWO
• Flip tracing paper over so the ebony side is facing towards your poster board• If you followed the printing directions your image should be no wider then
your poster board!
