QUICKEN TROUBLESHOOTING FOR ONLINE BANKING
Go to the Home screen in Quicken.
To update your password, go to Tools > Password Vault > Add or Edit Passwords.
Please note: Quicken only supports the 3 most current versions of their software. Unsupported software must be updated.
Next, highlight the login ID under Blackhawk Bank and choose Change Password or Delete Password.
To change, simply edit the password and click Change.
Should you encounter issues with updating an account, go to Tools >One Step Update.
In the One Step Update Settings,ensure the Blackhawk Bank box is checked.Choose Update Now and see if the account(s) updated.
To delete and reactivate an account, choose Tools > Account List. Once this step is completed, any issues should be corrected.
On the Account List screen, choose Edit next to one of the Blackhawk Bank accounts.
Choose Reset Account to reset the Web Connect.
On the next screen, choose the Online Services tab.
Verify it links to the correct account. Then, choose OK.
Confirm there is a green checkmark and click OK.
If Account Details are still not updating, choose Deactivate next to the account.
When asked to deactivate this service, choose Yes.
Once the account has been deactivated, choose Set up Now.
Enter your current Blackhawk Bank user ID and Password. Click on the Save this password box. Then, click on Connect.
Choose the Link option next to each account and click Next. This will add and update the selected accounts.
Make sure the Sync to Quicken Cloud for Mobile & Alerts box is checked.Click Finish.
An on-screen message will appear, verifying your data was successfully synced.Click OK.
To verify data is downloading from your Blackhawk Bank Online Banking, make sure Quicken is currently installed on your machine and you’ve completed downloads before. Launch Quicken and minimize it. Once logged into your Online Banking, click on one of your Accounts. From the Transactions listing, click the download arrow.
Select Date range and File type. File type should be Quicken QFX. Choose Download.
Click on the file in the lower left-hand corner once it is downloaded.Please note: Depending on your browser settings, your download file may appear in a different location on your screen. In this example, Chrome is being used.
Choose Open. This should automatically launch the import into Quicken.
Example:
If this is for a new account, click Create a new account and click Import.
If the account already exists in Quicken, click Link to an existing account and click Import.If the file will not launch, complete the steps below.
Once logged into your Online Banking, click on one of your Accounts. From the Transactions listing, click the download arrow.
Select the Date range and File type. File type should be Quicken QFX. Choose Download.
Click on the file in the lower left-hand corner once it is downloaded. Choose Show in folder.Please note: Depending on your browser settings, your download file may appear in a different location on your screen. In this example, Chrome is being used.
Right click the file and choose Rename. Change the .qfx file etension to .txt. If the file has data in it, the issue must be resolved with Quicken. Please contact Quicken to troubleshoot with them. If there is no data in the file and you have verified there are transactions on the account, contact Blackhawk Bank at 800.209.2616 to resolve the issue.
