about quilting. Many members

volunteer to work on the show

and find it fun and rewarding.

The extensive library of the guild

includes stencils, videos, and

many new quilting books, as well

as old “classics.” Members may

borrow up to three items at a

time (up to six over the summer),

due back at the next meeting.

Members donate quilt-related

items to be sold at the

fundraising and mini-mart table

at the monthly meetings. This

allows members to recycle items

they no longer need, and the

guild benefits from the proceeds.

SERVICE PROJECTS

Q.U.I.L.T., Inc. is a non-profit

organization with on-going service

projects. Members under the guidance

of the Service Committee have made

many quilts that have been donated to

community organizations that serve

those who would enjoy a comforting

quilt. Placemats are also quilted by

members and donated to organizations.

A beautiful raffle quilt is created by

members for the guild’s quilt show.
