QUILT SHOW, LIBRARY
AND MINI-MART
Q.U.I.L.T., Inc. has presented
biennial quilt shows since 1988
to showcase the talents of our
members and share information
about quilting. Many members
volunteer to work on the show
and find it fun and rewarding.
The extensive library of the guild
includes stencils, videos, and
many new quilting books, as well
as old “classics.” Members may
borrow up to three items at a
time (up to six over the summer),
due back at the next meeting.
Members donate quilt-related
items to be sold at the
fundraising and mini-mart table
at the monthly meetings. This
allows members to recycle items
they no longer need, and the
guild benefits from the proceeds.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership is open to anyone
interested in quilting. Payment of
$30.00 dues entitles members to
voting privileges, newsletter
subscription, use of the library, access
to workshops, discounts at some fabric
stores, and special privileges when they
arise. Members are encouraged to join
a number of active committees such as
service, fundraisers, newsletter, and
Quilt Show.
SERVICE PROJECTS
Q.U.I.L.T., Inc. is a non-profit
organization with on-going service
projects. Members under the guidance
of the Service Committee have made
many quilts that have been donated to
community organizations that serve
those who would enjoy a comforting
quilt. Placemats are also quilted by
members and donated to organizations.
A beautiful raffle quilt is created by
members for the guild’s quilt show.
MONTHLY MEETINGS:
WHEN:
Q.U.I.L.T., Inc. meets on the second Friday
of every month from September-June.

information tables, and shop the mini-
mart. A brief business meeting begins at

by a guest speaker, or scheduled
celebrations. One of the highlights of the
monthly meetings is “Show and Share”
when members are encouraged to share
their latest projects with the group.
All-day or afternoon workshops are
scheduled in advance for the year. Other
activities include service projects, open
sew, and informal sewing groups.
Bring your lunch if you plan to stay for the
afternoon!
