QUITMAN SCHOOL DISTRICTREQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Quitman School District wishes to purchase a used wrecker. To that end, Quitman School District is releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit responses from interested vendors. Quitman School District intends to select the most qualified vendor based on the vendor’s ability to meet the requirements set aside in said RFP. Final selection will be made in accordance with the policies and administrative directive of the Quitman School District and other applicable statutory provisions. RFP documents will be available for download from the Quitman School District website home page at www.quitmanschools.org.
Quitman School District will be accepting responses to this Request for Proposals until 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017.
Please submit bid in a sealed envelope, marked in the lower left-hand corner with the RFP number, date, and hour proposals are scheduled to be received.

ENVELOPE MUST BE IDENTIFIED AS RFP #17/01-001.
Publication Dates: December 22nd and December 29th Quitman School District is issuing a sealed Request for Proposal (RFP) #17/01-001 for a used wrecker.
Specifications for the desired vehicle are as listed:
1. 400 horse power (or greater)2. 18 speed transmission3. Single axle4. Air ride suspension5. 25 ton integrated wrecker6. 20 ton winches7. 3 stage under reach8. Aluminum boxes
Terms
Quitman School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Proposals will be judged based on price and quality regarding the above specifications.
Proposals should be submitted with a straight-forward and concise description of the vehicle that is available for purchase.
The winning bidder must hold the vehicle for up to 30 days from the date of the award to allow for formal bid award by the board of trustees.
Vehicle service and maintenance history must be included with the bid.
