The FCC (Fed eral Communicat ions Commission)has created 14 license free frequency b and s,or channels, called Family Radio Service (FRS)freq uencies. These cha nnels are in the UHF(Ultra High Frequency) band which me ans g reat

penetration through buildings, thick forests,hills,and other d ense structures.They a re also FM(Frequency Modulation) signals w hich meanscrystal clear reception even in crowd ed no isyenvironments.

Your FRS 110 has a unique circuit designed to

extend ba ttery life. If there are no transmissionswithin 10 seconds, the unit w ill automa ticallyswitch to ba ttery sa ve mode andwill be shown in the d isplay.
