Activating the RADIO TYBOX

With a door/window magnetic contactIf a door/window magnetic contact is associated, the heating switches to Frost protection mode if thedoor/window is opened.

The RF 640 and RF 650 receivers allows you to associate up to 8 home automation products (door/win-dow magnetic contact, alarm control centre, remotecontrols, etc.) with the RADIO TYBOX.

To associate the different products, refer to the RADIOTYBOX installation guide.

Activating the RADIO TYBOXThe receiver (RF 640 or RF 650) instantaneously takesinto account all information coming from a home automation product (e.g. an open window).

To display this information on the RADIO TYBOX, theRADIO TYBOX must be “activated” by pressing a button.

The update can take a few seconds.

Home automation features

With a TYXAL alarm control unit

If a TYXAL alarm control unit is associated.

When you activate the alarm, the heating will automatically switch to Economy mode until the nextprogram change.

When you activate the alarm, the heating will automatically switch to Economy mode until the nextprogram change.

This override can be cancelled on the RADIO TYBOX,by pressing the override button or by turning the selector knob.

With a TYXIA TransmitterWith an associated TYXIA transmitter:

- pressing the button once switches the heatingto Comfort mode until the next program change.

- pressing the button once switches the heatingto Economy mode until the next program change.

The command can be cancelled:

- on the TYXIA transmitter, by pressing ,- on the RADIO TYBOX, by pressing the override

button or by turning the selector knob.

E.g. With an associated remote control

With a TYDOM 200 remote control

From the home domain , pressing the tactile button switches off the heating.This off command is cancelled by pressing .

Pressing the tactile or button once switches theheating to Comfort or Economy mode, until the nextprogram change.The command can be cancelled:

- on the TYDOM 200 remote control, by pressing thetactile button,

- on the RADIO TYBOX, by pressing the override button or by turning the selector knob.

With a TYDOM telephone transmitterBy calling the TYDOM telephone transmitter, let thesynthesized voice guide you to determine or modify thestatus of the heating system (see the TYDOM transmitter instructions).

Replacing batteries

When the battery level symbol appears, you havearound 1 month to change the batteries (two 1.5 V alkaline batteries, LR03 or AAA).

The following precautions must be respected:- Ensure that the +/- polarities are correctly placed

when the battery is fitted into the unit.- Do not dispose of used batteries in unauthorized

places (you should respect the environment by takingthe batteries to a suitable collection site).

- Do not recharge the batteries.- You have approximately 30 seconds to change the

batteries before the time is reset to zero (if this happens, reset the date and time).

The programs cannot be modified and the set-point temperature settings are limited (comfort: 16 to 22°C,Economy: 13 to 19°C, Frost Protection: 5 to 11°C).Refer to the installation guide (menu 2-01) or contact your ins-taller or our customer service department.

Your heating system is in Frost-Protection mode.

The thermostat is in the , , PROG or position.

The unit displays: dEF 6.There is a communication fault between the RADIO TYBOXand the RF 640 or RF 650 receivers.Bring the transmitter nearer to the receiver.

The indication is displayed.The batteries are low.Change the batteries, making sure they are the right wayround.

The device only displays the time and the room temperature.RADIO TYBOX is in screen saver display mode, but all theheating features are running.Press a button to "activate" the display.The update can take a few seconds.

When creating a program, the and symbols do notappear on the screen.Program changes were not authorized during installation.Refer to the installation guide (menu 2-01) or contact your ins-taller or our customer service department.

The temperature displayed does not match the temperature measured in the room (thermometer).Refer to the installation guide (menu 2-02) or contact your installer or our customer service department.
