Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure planning, scheduling, monitoring & timely execution and Fabrication of mechanical related work for Boiler, Turbine, ESP, Ash Handling, and Rotary Equipments.
Timely and proper co-ordination with civil agencies to get civil foundations for erection of Mechanical equipment’s, sequentially and priority wise.
To evaluate & monitor over all work progress of Fabrication, Erection & commissioning of Piping, Heavy Structure and equipments as per the set schedule by planning dept.
To be in touch with planning section so as to get required documents needed for erection or Fabrication works and to follow up for any details required.
Make a planning with planning departments for Mechanical Fabrication, Erection as per site requirements and materials availability in advance and establish erection time schedule.
Review of Daily/Weekly/Monthly Planning Report, Monthly Progress Review & Site coordination activities for Material & Erection.
To prepare Review Notes for Monthly coordination meetings at H.O. level. To give feedback to all superiors about site activities and progress details related to
erection and when required or as per feedback schedule. Responsible for handling the stores and update the inward materials and to highlight
critical items in advance to ensure sequential erection. Responsible for inspection of BTG & BOP erection material at BHEL Manufacturing
Unit and Punj Lloyd Ltd Manufacturing Unit. Inspection of Fit –up of Welding Joints, Alignments of Pressure parts, Non Pressure
Parts, Structure as per FQP plan. Testing of HP, LP pipeline and Structure welding (Kerosene Test, DFT Test & DP
Test etc) testing witness as per Standards & quality assurance plan. Witness of Stress relieving (PWHT) of welded joints and Headers as per approved
procedures Responsible for check Monthly Erection Bill Submitted by Erection Agency as per
erection data available with us To ensure Safety norms & Field quality works during course of erection.
Achievements
Complete the successful Light up Boiler unit with Drainable &Non Drainable Hydro test of the boiler, Safety Valve Floating , ATT of ESP, Boiler Furnace, Piping and Commissioning of LDO & HFO Piping, FD Fan, ID Fan and Mill Bunker.

Pre-Heating, PWHT Activities etc. (Kerosene Test, DFT Test & DP Test etc) testing
