RandolphWorks is a work-based learning program designed to answer our local industry leaders’ need for designed to answer our local industry leaders’ need for an engaged workforce in entry-level positions which

are difficult to fill.

RandolphWorks also addresses our need for students in our low-wealth school district to have above

minimum wage employment and support to stay in school and earn a high school diploma

Apprenticeship Randolph � What is Apprenticeship Randolph?� Apprenticeship Randolph is Randolph County’s

premier opportunity for current juniors and seniors residing in Randolph County, North Carolina to get a jump start on a professional career in our booming local industries. Students career in our booming local industries. Students have the opportunity to maximize earning potential, gain valuable skills and experience through on-the-job training, and earn an Associate of Applied Science degree in Manufacturing Technology from Randolph Community College at no cost to the student.

Randolph Community College Career and College Promise

� Career & College Promise (“CCP”) is North Carolina’s dual enrollment program for high school students. This program allows eligible NC high school students to enroll in college classes at North Carolina community colleges and universities through their high school. Students who successfully complete college courses earn both high school and college credit. In many cases, courses earn both high school and college credit. In many cases, students can also earn dual credit - meeting high school graduation requirements with college courses.

� Career & College Promise offers students the option to choose from these pathways:

� College Transfer - Designed for students planning to continue their educational career beyond high school to eventually achieve an Associate's or Bachelor's degree at a community college or university.

� Career & Technical Education - Allows students to begin a certification or diploma program in a particular technical field or career area.

TURN IN REGISTRATION SHEETS TO YOUR HOMEROOM TEACHERS by 3/11/19

Individual Registration meetings will occur in the media center starting 3/14the media center starting 3/14

� You will be able to get your schedules over the summer and will have a chance to fix it on a particular day in August which will be made available to you by a phone message home
