The company today

IM.VA. was founded in 1973 by Imes Tinti and his son Vanni, the latter being the current President of the company. Since then, the small metal carpenter’s workshop has grown into a ultra-modern industrial company specializing in the production of technical doors.

Insulated door production began in 1999 as the brainchild of Vanni Tinti, ushering in mass production. Today, IM.VA. supplies a full range of technical doors, both for industrial and residential use, in a great variety of forms and solutions.

Over the years IM.VA. has consistently sought out new chal lenges and opportunities, becoming an essential player in public and private tenders and positioning itself as industry leader, both in Italy and abroad, by way of its creat ivi ty, social awareness and manufacturing capacity.

Tradition and innovation

Mario Tinti, born in 1877, Renzo Tinti, in 1900, and Imes Tinti, in 1924, are the artisans who converted the great family t radi t ion of metalworking to the foundation of IM.VA. in 1973.

Straight after graduating from Technical and Industrial School, Vanni Tinti, the current president of the company, dedicated himself to the family business alongside his father. As the brainchild of Vanni in 1999, IM.VA. began mass production of industrial doors. Today, IM.VA. offers a fully comprehensive range of technical doors for industrial and residential use.

AR 600 is a high-speed door designed to meet the high demands on doors operating in workplaces where a heavy traffic flow is expected. AR 600 has an opening speed up to 2.0 m/s and a special system that can restore the operation of the curtain after an accidental impact. The curtain hit slips safely out of the guides while the movement of the door can be recovered with a simple opening and closing operation. The door can be installed both on the exterior and interior of the bui lding .AR 600 offers special advantages developed for the need of a modern efficient logistic flow. Function like self-repairing, soft “start and stop”, the high wind load resistance are a standard on AR 600. Combining in an entrance of industrial building the needs of heavy traffic flow, energy saving and security is an operation that may require the use of different types of doors with difficulty on how to install them. IM.VA., thanks to its experience in the manufacture of insulated folding doors, has developed a solution that combines a high speed (AR 600) door with an insulated industrial door in a single structure. The installation is very simple and the required spaces are minimized. As well as the standard solution with the folding door. IM.VA. can design and supply high-speed door in combination with a roller shutter or a sectional door.

The facilities that process and recycle the waste, require the installation of doors able to withstand intense workloads and, while operating in dirty and highly aggressive environments, must ensure a continuous and reliable operation. IM.VA. has developed specific know-how in the manufacturing of high-speed doors that meet the needs of customers who work in this area of business (e.g. Waste Incineration Plants, Waste Collection Centers).

CONTROL UNITControl box with 230V or 400V power supply and 24V auxiliary low voltage. Protection IP55, with easily removable motherboard and a separate inverter.“START” button and emergency “STOP” are integrated.

EMERGENCY OPERATIONRelease rod for partial opening (maximum height of 2500 mm, a safety switch automatically cuts the power to the motor after the rod insertion).For door bigger than 20 sqm. we recommend the use of UPS (Battery Back-up) or counterweight.

PRE WIRINGPre-wired electrical system, voltage wires 230-400/24V separated as required by the current legislation.Photocells, flashing lights, electric brake, limit switches and motor are already connected to the junction box with cables ready for connection to the control panel.

OPERATORSThe operators can be placed on both sides of the upper beam.Motor 230V or 400V-50Hz three-phases with electric brake, designed for an intensive use, complete with manual release to allow the door movement in case of power supply failure.Limit switches are incorporated in the motor unit, easy to be inspected and adjusted.S e l f - l u b r i c a t e d g e a r - m o t o r, maintenance-free, mounted directly on the shaft or operated by a chain.Soft “start and stop” is standard on AR 600.

STANDARD STRUCTUREThe standard door structure is made of galvanized steel equipped with bolted plates without welding.Covers of header box and side columns are made of galvanized sheet steel with Sendzimir treatment, pre-painted in color similar to RAL 9002 (IM900, AV600, AR600).Stiffening tubes in the door curtain made of galvanized steel withstanding heavy wind load (IM900, AV600).Shaft tube in galvanized steel with a diameter of 110 mm supported by ball bearings.

STANDARD CURTAINThe standard curtain is in reinforced PVC tear-resistant, fire-retardant class 2, 700 gr/sqm (IM900, AV600), 900 gr/sqm (AR600, AR300). The self-repairing system provides a curtain with side zippers welded to the fabric.
