COMPANY OVERVIEW

Cosmo Polyurethane Indonesian (CPI) is a Urethane System House established in 1996. Taking the best use of global network and the most advanced technology power of Mitsui Chemicals, Inc. (MCI), with Polyol and Isocyanate as its base material, CPI manufactures and sales Urethane Systems as well as raw material. CPI is the only Urethane System House in Indonesia that can deliver constantly stable quality system to satisfy expectation of clients. In addition, CPI can provide various technical support and guidance as required. CPI shall exactly respond to the customer’s expectation based on our knowledge which has been cultivated and developed thus far, that is because we are professionals who know profoundly the substantial matter of Polyurethane.

SODEGAURA CENTER

Sodegaura Center is a complex of Mitsui Chemicals Research Laboratories in Sodegaura, Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Sodegaura Center doing R&D activities, such as basic technology development, new materials development, and process development.

The Polyurethane Material Division R&D are developing new polyol and isocyanate with focus on high-performance functional products. The aim it to satisfy various requirements such as improved comfort, reduced energy consumption and harmony with the environment in a wide range of fields such as automobiles, furniture, home appliances, coatings, adhesives and waterproofing.

CPI has sent several staffs to have one year training in Sodegaura Center to learn the know how of Polyurethane. We are now able to modify formulation to satisfy our customers requirements.

Our R&D is equipped with advanced facility, such as Universal Testing Machine, Tensile Measurement, Rise Sensor, High Pressure Foaming Machine, Two Components Spray Machine, Karl Fisher Titration, Anacon Thermal Conductivity Analyzer, Low Temperature Chamber, Humidity Chamber.CPI have trained several R&D Staffs at Sodegaura Center, Japan. Our staffs capable to develop high quality applications suitable to latest technology in automotive, insulation, construction and furniture industries base on Japanese developed formulation or our own development.

CPI acts as stock point to create stable supply and use closeness advantages to perform on time delivery. CPI business line is in the Polyurethane Field which cored in the

production of tailor made resin premix and isocyanate-mix.

Starting in 1996 with only one blending tank and rigid foam field

only, CPI has grown to able to operate seven blending tank and

covering all of Polyurethane foam application and recently

Polyisocyanurate foam as well.

To ensure quality of product since 2002, CPI implement Quality

Management System, which is now already in its latest version

ISO 9001:2008. To fulfill commitment for the Environmental

Protection, since 2004 CPI implement Environmental

Management System ISO 14001. CPI also prioritize Health and

Safety, and has successfully achieve 4 years in row without lost

time accident.
