Using the Keypad
General Keypad Operations The navigation keys (up, down, left & right) are used to move the cursor around the screen. Once on the desired text, press enter. Softkey functions are defined on the lower part of the screen adjacent to the F1 - F4 keys. The operation of these keys will vary according to which screen is active. When text is required, the alpha/numeric keys operate in a similar manner to a mobile phone keypad, pressing the key cycles round the text and number for that key. There is a soft-key function to change between upper and lower case letters. The escape "ESC" key can be used to quit a function before execution. It is also the back page key. The “ENTER” key can be used to confirm an operation or advance.

If the “Mute” key has not been pressed for 10 seconds, a PIN will be required to accept further alarms. Once all of the current alarms have been accepted, the alarm buzzer will stop, the indicator will display static red and the screen will revert to the screen prior to the alarm. Once all alarms are clear, the indicator will display static green
