Bringing Joy to the World Through Operation Christmas Child!!!

God opened doors and World Changer Kids walked through them! This fall, we were able to Partner with The Bridge Church in Bixby, OK, as well as with local elementary school Kids for Christ clubs to facilitate the creation of many shoe box gifts for the children of the world through “Operation Christmas Child!” Windee World and Dr. Living Stone have worked with the “Operation Christmas Child” outreach project for 16 years by spreading the vision, coordinating local school and church collections, making presentations to school & church groups, and packing hundreds of shoe box gifts to send the love of God and the message of the Gospel to countries around the world.

Since 1993, a Christian relief organization called Samaritan’s Purse has collected and distributed more than

86 million gift-filled shoe boxes to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to hurting children around the world

in more than 130 countries! Directed by Franklin Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, Samaritan’s Purse

partners with ordinary people like us as well as with churches, schools, and community organizations to pack

shoe boxes with small gifts, toys, school supplies, and personal care items. The gift-filled shoe boxes are

collected during the week before Thanksgiving and distributed around the Christmas season to bless millions

of children and their families worldwide every year. Most shoe box gift distributions are accompanied by the

distribution of Gospel literature and teaching about Jesus – especially the Christmas story. “Operation

Christmas Child” has become the single largest project for children’s evangelism in the world! Over the past

few years, Samaritan’s Purse has also developed a 12 lesson Bible study program for children called “The

Greatest Journey,” which is now available in 60 languages! The Greatest Journey program is used worldwide

as follow-up after the shoe box distributions to help children grow in their new faith in Jesus Christ as their

Lord and Savior.

During National Collection Week Nov. 14 – 21, 2011, over 23,500 shoe box gifts were collected for OCC in the Tulsa area!

Grace Church Christmas Outreach Yields a Harvest for God’s Kingdom! On December 18, families and children from the Tulsa area gathered at Grace Church for a

wonderful Christmas music program and amazing food and gift distribution. The goal was to touch

hundreds of children with the love of God, special Christmas gifts, and the message of the Gospel.

World Changer Kids donated over 300 paperback NIrV New Testaments for children to be given

away during the outreach. God brought in a great harvest of 230 salvations - 200 of them children!

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven

belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14, NIV) We were very blessed to be able to contribute to

this amazing outreach!

The opportunities have never been greater to impact the world by reaching children with the message of
