LT. GOV. WYMAN RECOGNIZES ENGINEERING DESIGN-CHALLENGE WINNERS, ENCOURAGES ALL CONNECTICUT SCHOOLS TO

COMPETE  Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman today announced that a team of Connecticut high school students will travel to Washington D.C. next week for the kickoff of the 2012 Real World Design Challenge (RWDC) – a nationwide engineering competition that the team won earlier this year.

Theme “Green Aviation” Students tasked to optimize the performance of a light sport aircraft

NEEDHAM, Mass., October 11, 2011

PTC (Nasdaq: PMTC), The Product Development Company®, today joined more than 45 partners on Capitol Hill to kick-off the 2011-2012 Real World Design Challenge. The theme of this year's challenge, "Green Aviation," was announced today at an event hosted by Senator Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire and the students from last year's national champion team, the Xavier High School Engineering Club from Middletown, CT representing the state of Connecticut.
