    In Precipitating by H2S the following points should be takeninto consideration :

    + A number of metal sulfides are complexed by H2S to give

    solube complexes of the types MS.n

    H2S. Therefore thesolubility of metals sulfides in H2S saturated water is muchgreater than in distilled water

    In a fact we must used heterogen not homogen because Equlibriumconditions are more favorable

    At the Sherrit Gordon Plant, the purified leach solution obtained by amonical

    pressure leaching of Ni-Co sulfide concentrate contains 45g/l Ni, 1 g/l Co,350 g/l ammonium sulfate and enough free ammonia to give an[NH3]/[Ni

    2+] + [Co2+]=2

    The purified solution is reacted with H2 at 500 psi and 200oC. Ni will be

    precipitated and Co still in solution
