Red Ribbon Week!1.The Red Ribbon Campaign is now the oldest and largest drug prevention program in the nation.2.Red Ribbon Week is a way for people and communities to unite and take a visible stand against drugs.3.The Red Ribbon Campaign was started commemorate the death of DEA agent Enrique “Kiki” Camarena in 1985. This began the annual tradition of displaying Red Ribbons as a symbol of intolerance towards the use of drugs.

THEME DRESS DAYS1.Theme dress days are NOT FREE DRESS DAYS! All students not participating are to be in school uniform.

2.Students who are participating must follow the theme guidelines listed for that theme day.

MONDAY, October 27 – “Red Out”

1. Students wear Red Clothing.2. Majority of clothing item must

be red.3. Non-red clothing items must

comply with uniform policy.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28 – “Follow Your Dreams Don’t Do

Drugs”1. Students may wear pajamas to school.2. No see through, sheer, tank top or spaghetti strap PJs

may be worn.3. All pajama clothing must be complete with top and

bottoms, no mixing with non pajama clothing items. 1. No Sweats or Basketball Shorts

4. No slippers, stuffed animals, or blankets.

WEDNESDAY, October 29“Team Up Against Drugs”

1. Students may wear their favorite college team jerseys or Lathrop sprit shirt.

2. Uniform bottoms must be worn.

3. No professional team jerseys allowed.

THURSDAY, October 30 – “Friends Don’t Let Friends

Bully Or Do Drugs”1. Twin Day

1. Students may also dress as Triplets, quadruplets, quintuplets, etc.

2. Dress like you friend also permitted.

3. All other clothing items must comply with uniform policy.
