Red Ribbon Week Send a Message. Stay drug free. October 23 rd -31 st Wednesday, 23 rd Theme: LOVE Yourself Enough to be Drug Free Dress Up: wear as much RED as possible. The class in K-3 rd and 4 th -6 th wearing the most red will win a prize! Note: All students will be given a red bracelet to wear for the week. A schoolwide picture will also be taken to show our love and support of making good decisions. Thursday, 24 th Theme: LEI Off Drugs Dress Up: wear Hawaiian attire… Hawaiian shirts, Hawaiian shorts, grass skirts (no swimsuits, please) Note: All students will be given a lei to wear. K-2 nd students will see the Safety Kids Puppet Show presented by the RHS Peer Mediators. Friday, 25 th Theme: Follow Your DREAMS…Don’t Do Drugs Dress Up: wear school-appropriate pajamas. Monday, 28 th Theme: We POSITIVELY Won’t Do Drugs Dress Up: wear shirts with positive and encouraging messages written on them Note: students will be given a sticker with a positive affirmation on it Tuesday, 29 th Theme: Don’t Get MIXED Up with Drugs Dress Up: wear mismatched clothes Wednesday, 30 th Theme: Your Future is BRIGHT…Don’t Do Drugs Dress Up: wear neon and sunglasses Note: All students will participate in an assembly presented by the RHS Drum Line. Students and staff are encouraged to donate to our

school-wide donation drive from October 21st-November 1st. The hallway who collects the most donations wins a prize!

What do we donate? deodorant, 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner

Where do we put our donations?

Please put your donation in the box at the start of your hall.

Who will receive the donations? Students and families in RISD will benefit

from this year’s donation drive. All donations will be given to the RISD Clothes Closet.
