REFLECTIONS . . . It’s exciting to be a member of a Church that’s on the Move.
The Easter Egg Hunt on the 28th of March was a great suc-
cess! It was thrilling not only to see our own Church mem-
bers with their children but awesome to see so many families
visiting from our community. We had 200-250 people all
together. Watching the children “run” and “collect” the
Easter Eggs was great. A successful event like this doesn’t
happen by accident. I appreciate Joy Ambrose, Maria
Clark and B. J. immensely. We are so blessed to have a “Children’s program”
along with all the other ministries here in Stillwater. I appreciate how the La-
dies Bible class and youth group along with Derrick were involved in making
this Easter Egg Hunt so memorable. It was also moving to see so many individ-
uals stay after the event and help with tables and chairs. Our 2nd Annual Sunrise service was also a great Success. We had 106 individu-
als that had the opportunity to meet together to celebrate the Resurrection of
Jesus Christ. It was exciting to see people of all ages represented at this Service.
It was also good to see several Guests from the community along with family
members who were in town for Easter. (One person came all the way from Mus-
kogee to be a part of our Sunrise Service). (We had to move the Service to the
building because of the cold temperatures and wind. Lord willing, with Easter
being 3 weeks later, we’ll have the opportunity to be at Boomer Lake next year).
I appreciate the people who worked behind the scenes to make this event a suc-
cess. The folks who directed traffic from the park to the building, the individu-
als who helped with coffee and juice, the folks who made the Lord’s Supper for
both Services, and the folks who picked up the breakfast sandwiches and donuts
are to be commended. I also appreciate “Granny’s Steakhouse” who provided
our breakfast sandwiches at no cost along with a member who provided Missy’s
Donuts. The Breakfast was wonderful. I appreciate all the men who helped lead
our Service at 7am. Our Worship at 10:15am was also thrilling! We had a large
crowd and many guests from our community along with family members who
were in town for Easter. It’s great to be a member of the Stillwater congrega-
tion...Jimie-Wray Mead

GUEST SPEAKER TODAY
Ricky Gootam from Kakinada, India
Ricky is here!! Ricky Gootam from Kakinada
India is speaking today! Ricky spreads the word
of God through working with a children’s home,
lepers, developing and maturing
preachers and many other ways. In
2017, through the TV program in Tel-
ugu and Oriya languages they sent out
47,000 basic Bible courses. They had
a minimum of 1,000 involved through
their TV outreach going to six India
states. Every day they distribute 40
Bibles to individuals who have com-
pleted their basic Bible course. In
2017 through the grace of God, 46
new village congregations were estab-
lished. There is much more but space is limited. Your
mission contributions help support Ricky and God’s
work in India.
