• The ONS also provided an expert to attend and participate in the SADC data collection conference

– ONS have continued to provide assistance to the ICP in Africa by attending 3 data quality conferences in; Harare (SADC), Abuja (ECOWAS) & Lusaka (COMESA)
– ONS consultants have also visited Botswana and Zambia, and Angola on a follow up mission
– ONS and INSEE are collaborating over the treatment of National Accounts components, and the ONS will be attending the Bamako National Accounts Seminar in late September

– ONS will continue to work in partnership with the ADB to provide assistance over issues such as;• data validation

– ONS consultants will also continue to attend future ADB seminars and conferences
– ONS will work with the ADB to exploit potential areas of statistical capacity that the ICP creates
