Tsunami hit Thailand’s southern coastlines on morning of December 26, 2004. The missingpersons.or.th web site is created to serve those who are in need to advertise for the missing of their loved ones via internet.This web site is fully supported by the Thai Red Cross Society and NECTEC/NSTDA/MOST

Problems with the 1st Server

Main memory was used almost 100%

Solution: add 2 more GB RAM handle double number of transactions.

Main memory was still used almost 100 %.

Solution: adjust configuration of Apache #vi /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.confMaxClients was set to be 256 (maximum).

One day had passed, number of accesses increased exponentially.
