From each Composite sample, remove approximately 1 kg of

soil and place into a sample bag. Seal the bags with an

identification number. A polyethylene bag or glass jar is

    permitted.

    Soil Sample Botanical Survey

    2. Soil Sampling methodology

Each composite sample shall consist of 10 sub-samples taken

from randomised locations within the block. Collect the sample

    as follows:

Depth 1 Surface.; collect 10 sub samples from a depth of

0cm 25 cm. If using a soil probe, each sub-sample will

consist of one (1) core. If using a shovel each sub-sample

will consist of approximately 125g of soil.

Depth 2 - Sub surface collect 10 sub samples from a depth

of 25 cm 60 cm. If using a soil probe, each sub-sample will

consist of one (1) core. If using a shovel each sub-sample

will consist of approximately 125g of soil.
