Empower the ArtsWe propose that Wisconsin Lutheran College hosts a workshop for the Arts, inviting MPS high school students to revive their passion of music, art, and theatre.

A way to revive and empower the love of the Arts, in response to the loss of art programs in Milwaukee Public Schools.

A recruiting and informational opportunity for WLC.

A way for our campus to give back to Liberal Arts Education.

Schedule of Events Arrival and registration: 9:30am

Students receive folder of information Informed of signup sheets Place their artwork on display

Speaker Dr. Gregory Schulz: 10am Lunch provided by Sodexo: 11am

Performances by WLC choirs, band, and string ensemble

Guests can view the student art displayed, which was brought for the event

options to continue their passions. Reminding them of the important skills

they learn from the Arts, which will benefit them in their lives, not to mention their college search
