The Model HP-3000-RV-TC is designed to test Safety Relief Valves with air and water up to 3000 PSI

with a built in test chamber and muffler assembly.

Standard features include:

• 100-ton clamping fixture with four arms ( also available in a 3-arm configuration)

• 15-gallon air surge tank, 3000 PSI

• 15 gallon water surge tank

• 2” ball valve, 3000 PSI ball valve with actuator

• Control console cabinet, powder coated, front doors, rear access panels, safety strobe light.

• 4” dial gauges 0.5% accuracy full scale, with red hand maximum pressure pointers.

• Digital Gauge for Data Acquisition, 4” dial panel mounted with RS-232 port, NIST calibration certs.

• Data Acquisition System with PC, flat screen, stainless steel keyboard and mouse panel mounted.

• Data Acquisition Software and cables, inkjet printer all included.

• Heavy duty test chamber lighted, with hydraulic actuated fixture to extend and retract inside.

• Adapter plate with quick disconnects for 1/2” to 2” NPT valves, other sizes available.

• Bubble jar with adapter plates and clamps

• Built in muffler system with test chamber lowers 15-20 Db of relief valves noise when popping

• Safety Hydraulic Interlock valve prevents accidental release of clamping pressure when valves are

under test pressure.

TEST CHAMBER: Heavy duty steel

chamber with built in muffler/water catch

pan. LED lighting, hydraulic actuated test

fixture mounted on v-groove casters.

Lexan viewing window on the side, front

door locks, air actuated inside locks pre-

vents access under pressure. Side view-

ing window dual layer of Lexan. Built in

monitor inside the test chamber to view

water seat leakage.

HYDRO PUMP: Air-operated 0-6000 PSI for

seat testing, adjustable pressures.

GAUGES: 4” dial panel-mounted gauges,

glycerin filled, 0.5% accuracy full scale with

maximum pressure pointer, and gauge

savers.

COMPONENTS: All high-pressure valves,

fittings and tubing stainless steel. All

gauges, valves and controls panel-mounted

for ergonomic controls.

SAFETY FEATURES:

A hydraulic safety interlock valve is installed

in the circuit to prevent the accidental re-

lease of clamping pressure unless the test

pressure is vented. Safety Test Chamber

with Muffler System included. Safety Strobe

lights, door interlocks on test chamber.

AIR TANKS: Dual 15 gallon 3000 PSI ASME/

ISO tanks for air & water. Larger tank ca-

pacities available.

OPTIONAL FEATURES: Dual air compressor

system with external storage tanks. Consult

Data Acquisition

The set (popping) pressure, re-seat pressure, valve model and serial number, size can be

displayed along with other data such as technician name, and date. Data is displayed on

the flat screen monitor of the computer, and can be saved in the system as well as printed

with the ink jet printer installed.
