Welcome to the Second Semester

of the 2015-16 School Year!

Academic Parent Teacher Teams are January 7th and 8th. Progress Reports will

be sent home that week. We are halfway through the school year and students

and staff should be looking at what is needed so that each and every student can

be moved onto the next grade level prepared and ready!! Please continue to keep

the line of communication open between yourself and the classroom teacher. Be

sure to contact them with any questions or concerns.

Without question, Bianca Diaz De Leon demonstrates qualities for MPS Student of the Month. Bianca’s consistent character as a studious person who shows integrity and kindness set her above and beyond the others. During the school day, Bianca applies her best effort to participate in learning and to strive for high achievement in every subject. Similarly, she inspires others through a strong work ethic in collaborating on projects and in her determination to help classmates learn. In the same way, she completes her homework with fidelity and makes extra-curricular contributions to campus through Student Council and Orchestra. When it comes to integrity, Bianca consistently makes positive choices. Whether being respectful to adults, providing truthful information, or being a leader among peers in difficult situations-Bianca shines. Furthermore, Bianca’s warmth and caring is an inspiration to all. Each morning, she greets staff members with a glowing smile and is first to ask how they are. Similarly, she is quick to see when someone needs help and offers before being asked. She volunteers at recess to assist teachers, younger students, or school-sponsored events. Bianca has a heart of gold!! Definitely, Bianca’s consistency in love of learning, honorable character, and thoughtfulness are exemplary for Adam’s students and throughout Mesa Public Schools!
