The Renault Duster launch is also been speculating to arrange by next year in the early days. Strategically, the masterminds of Renault India are attempting to touch the sales figures of about 1 lakh units by the year 2013 as against less than 1000 units now. To make sure about the launch of Renault Duster Mr. Sudhir Rao, the deputy managing director of Renault Group in India has acknowledged this thing. He said that currently the company’s business operations are dedicated only to domestic market. Reason, it’s having the huge prospects of good growth in coming time. He also added that they have just started off the journey with Fluence and Koleos which have been receiving favorable response. In which the Koleos has achieved the 800 units of sales after having its launch in SUV segment.

Some of the other popular cars of this segment are Maruti Swift, Maruti Ritz, Nissan Micra, Chevrolet Beat, Volkswagen Polo, Maruti Wagon R and upcoming Toyota Etios Livaand Honda Brio.
