Base load change over functionThe software is fittedwith a base load change over function. Itspurpose is to connect via the RS485 interface (max. 4 additionalRENNERtronic or RENNERtronic Plus units), direct connection viainputsandoutputs(directlink,max.2additionalstandardorthird-partyunits)orwithabaseloadchangeovermoduleMK200(max.4additionalstandardorthird-partyunits).

HardwareThehardwarealsohasadditionalfeatures:RENNERtronicPlushas11digitalinputs(theRENNERtronichas5),8digitaloutputs(insteadof6),1analogueinputforatemperaturesensorand3forpressuretransducers and current transformers. In addition, the controller checks whether the mainspressureisbuildingup,forexampletoidentifyabeltbreak.

RENNERtronic Plus – the compressor control with additional functions

For themultiplecompressor systemsof theSCROLLlineSuperSilentseries,theintegratedbaseloadchangeoverfunction(BLCO)oftheRENNERtronic Plus control precisely optimises the use of severalSCROLL compressors. This allows the performance to be balancedacrossalltheavailableunits.Thelevelofeffectivenessofthecompressoris optimised by the control. Status and monitoring messages areshownonalargedisplayandclearlyarranged.

RENNERtronic Plus – the control for oil-free air compressors

The RENNERtronic Plus control offers users of oil-free air compressors an ideal, efficient and safe system operation. The control software is specifically optimised for oil-free compressors and offers many options to set the compressor according to your requirements. In order to exploit all the potentials, it is possible to connect existing compressors to the RENNERtronic Plus.

With the RENNERtronicPlease see page 2 for the basic performance features of theRENNERtronic.ThemastermachinemusthaveaRENNERtronic.Alltheothercompressors(4intotal)arecontrolledbytheMK200module.Ofthe4additionalcompressors,atleast2musthaveaRENNERtronic.

With the RENNERtronic PlusThebasicperformancefeaturesarethesameastheRENNERtronicPlus on page 3. A total of 4 other compressors (slaves) can beconnected.Thecompressorscanbeconnectedinthreeways:

–viatheRS-485interface(4slavespossible)–viaexistinginputsandoutputs“DirectLink” (2slavespossible)–viathebaseloadchangeovermoduleMK200(4slavespossible)

Mixed control is also possible: The delivery rate of the slaves iscombinedinthecurrentdisplayandinthestatisticsfor informingthe master unit. Additional options are open to you with theRENNERtronic Plus – one frequency-controlled compressor (toregulate the peak load) or two frequency-controlled compressors(for even capacity utilisation through variable control) can beoptimallyconnectedtothebaseloadalternationloss-free,withoutregulatinggaps.Thebaseloadcompressorcanalsobedeterminedviaatimer.
