Correction: In our April 12, 2017 column, we wrote about a walking tin windup toy of B.O. Plenty, a Dick Tracy comic character, holding his beautiful baby Sparkle. B.O. Plenty’s wife is Gravel Gertie - not Dirty Gertie, as written in the article.

Special Photography Display at Haddon Hts. Antiques
Center
Photography has been around for well over 150 years now, but people are still fascinated by the concept
of capturing their own or others’ images with a camera. The Haddon Heights Antiques Center’s latest special display is all about “Striking a Pose” for the camera.
From 19th century cabinet photos, tintypes, and cartes de visite to 20th century Instamatic and Polaroid cameras, you’ll find all sorts of nostalgic items related to capturing and preserving images of people and places. Frames, albums, and even movie-related projectors and reels will be included.
A warm summer day is the perfect time to stroll through the two levels of the multi-dealer Haddon Heights Antiques Center hunting for a bargain. Customers have been appreciating the shop’s wide variety and generous discount policy for over twenty years.
You’ll find the Haddon Heights Antiques Center just off Exit 29 of I-295 on Clements Bridge Road where Haddon Heights and Barrington meet at the
railroad tracks. The shop is open seven days a week from 10 to 5 with extended hours on Friday. For directions or more information, call 856-546-0555.
TIP: Doors from a garage should have inside locks. Get a strong door. We know someone who came home to find a burglar had used an axe to “open”the door.
