*EYP Georgia has held a total of 18 Sessions in Georgia

during 2007-2010*First National Session in 2007 was

followed by membership of EYP family in 2008

* 4 Sessions were held in 2008 including the National Session, as well as mini sessions in Batumi, Rustavi and Tbilisi 51st Public School

*Members of EYP Georgia reached 200 active youngsters for the

end of 2008

*Activities other than regular sessions were also organized by the members, including: excursions, meetings, etc.

*The first Regional Session which had to take place in Gori, Georgia was cancelled due to the war in August, 2008

*Preparation for the first International Forum of EYP Georgia was started in late 2008

*2009 was one of the most productive years in the history

of EYP Georgia *The 3rd National Selection Conference with

120 delegates was the largest for EYP Georgia, with 9 committees and a total of 140 participants

*The first International Forum in Batumi, organized one year after the war in Georgia, gathered 130 participants from 14 European Countries

*Three Regional Sessions in Gori, Mtskheta and Kutaisi were also held in 2009, as well as mini Session in International Black Sea University and EYP winter Camp in Bakuriani

*The number of members of EYP Georgia exceeded 500 by the

end of 2009 *The limit of delegates sent from Georgia on

International Sessions was increased from 3 to 6 by the EYP International Board as a result of our activities

* In 2010 EYP Georgia became one of the leading youth

organizations nationwide *The 4th National Selection Conference with participants from

different regions was held in Georgian Parliament

*Two new strategic plans started to get implemented more actively, including: EYP at Schools and Regional Development

*The web page of EYP Georgia was launched with updated content, session archive, photo/video galleries, etc.

* The interest has grown significantly towards EYP Georgia from academic institutions as well as state and private organizations

*By the end of 2010 EYP Georgia counted more than 1’000

members, representing the core of active Georgian youth*4th National Selection Conference and Batumi 2nd

International Forum were yet one of the most successful events organized by EYP Georgia

*The 1st Regional Session in Zugdidi was held under

the motto “United Youth for Peace” taking place near the breakaway region of Georgia

*By the end of 2010 EYP Georgia counted more than 1’000

members, representing the core of active Georgian youth

*Two more Regional Sessions in Dusheti and Borjomi were also organized in 2010

*As well as Tbilsi City Session at Ilia State

University and the School Session of EYP Georgia, with the motto: New Generation in EYP

*What else in 2010?

*A renewed Charter was approved by the majority of National Committee members in the parliament of Georgia

*United Nations “Youth Day” was celebrated for the first time by incentive of EYP Georgia on 12th August, with a conference gathering all major youth organizations

*The first EYP Training was held in Bakuriani in Februaury

* Regional representatives were established in Batumi, Gori, Zugdidi, Rustavi and are planned to be established in other Georgian cities as well

*What else in 2010?

*The reorganization has been made in the management system of the organization and it is still in progress

* Public Relations Office, Academic Level Control, Event management, Regional Development, and Fundraising are the key areas identified and managed by the board up to now

* Any interesting idea submitted at: [email protected] is welcome by EYP Georgia

* Rolling-Basis Applications for becoming the member of National Committee has been implemented for all interested
