Participation from Pakistan in 19th Congress of World Veterinary Poultry Association (WVPAC 2015) in Cape Town South Africa from 07-11 September 2015.

Twelve members delegation from Pakistan participated in WVPAC 2015 in Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) of beautiful city of Cape Town South Africa under the leadership of President WVPA Pakistan Branch Dr. Hanif Nazir Ch and Secretary WVPA Pakistan Dr. Muhammad Kashif Saleemi. The participants included Dr. Rana Sajjad Arshad NS Poultry, Faisalabad, Dr. Syed Ehtisham Ul-Haq CVAS-UVAS Jhang, Dr. Munawar Ali & Dr. Saif-ur-Rehman Islamabad Poultry Breeding Company, Islamabad, Dr. Muhammad Shoaib, SB Poultry Rawalpindi, Dr. Javed Iqbal, Olympia Poultry Breeders, Lahore, Dr. Ghulam Mehboob, SAADAT International/Merial Lahore, Dr. Ashbil ICI Lahore, Mr. Haseeb Akram Punjab Chicks Rawalpindi, Dr. Muhammad Shahid Arif Wala, Dr. Hanif Nazir Ch BioPoul International Lahore and Dr. Muhammad Kashif Saleemi University of Agriculture Faisalabad Pakistan. Dr. Hanif Nazir Ch and Dr. Muhammad Kashif Saleemi also attended WVPA Bureau Meeting, Secretary WVPA Dr. Xavier also invited Dr. M. Kashif Saleemi to give brief presentation on “Two Days International Seminar on Poultry Diseases” going to be organized by WVPA Pakistan and Department of Pathology, University of Agriculture Faisalabad from 14-15 December 2015. The Bureau members appreciated the efforts of WVPA Pakistan. Dr. Muhammad Kashif Saleemi was also invited by WVPAC 2015 scientific committee for ORAL Presentation of his research work on Inovo Embryotoxic effects of Aflatoxigenic fungal extracts in chicken embryos. He also presented a POSTER on effects of chronic aflatoxins in broilers. Dr. Syed Ehtisham Ul Haq also presented a poster on LAMP based diagnosis of Mycoplasma in poultry. It was a great learning opportunity because world renowned poultry veterinarians, scientists, academicians and industry stake holders participated. The poultry veterinarians from more than 87 countries attended this important event. Dr. Hanif Nazir Ch and Dr. M. Kashif Saleemi also meet with WVPA officials and invited speakers of International Seminar in Pakistan. All the speakers agreed and were excited to visit Pakistan in December 2015. The WVPA officers highly appreciated the activities of WVPA Pakistan branch and hoped to continue these in near future.
