REPORT ON FAREWELL FUNCTION TO OUTGOING CLASS-X

BATCH 2018-19

TRANSCENDENCE: AN EXPERIENCE BEYOND LIMIT

NPS Kengeri, filled with curiosity and zeal, the students of class-IX gathered to

bid farewell to the outgoing class-X, batch 2018-19 on February 16th, 2019

(Saturday).

The day was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and

teachers and to reminisce joyous moments.

The Auditorium was festooned with the cultural programme showcasing the

multiple talents of class-IX students. A mesmerizing invocation dance aptly set

the momentum for the other stage performances of the day. Grade-IX Boys

performed a dance exhibiting the eternal bond of friendship, charmed the

audience.

The Secretary, Smt. Divya B.S presided the occasion adding a charm to the

atmosphere. The Principal, Mrs. Geeta Dikshit enlightened the students with

an inspiring speech and urged to develop an attitude to “Prepare to achieve but

Never Fail to Prepare” also to have multiple goals so as to explore the innate

potentials. The Principal after the speech declared Sanjana Ammanagi and

Hrishikesh V as the best outgoing student of the year 2018-19.

Students‟ of Grade-X, Sonal C.V. and Tanay N. emotionally reminiscence the

years spent in the school. They left the audience wistful.

The Class teachers of Grade-X, Mrs. Usha B.K. and Mrs. Sowmya M.S. shared

their experience with the students of Grade-X. Students expressed their

reverence to their class teachers with a standing ovation.

The incredible Ramp Walk by Grade-X students was a treat to the eyes and

each one competed with each other for the coveted titles Mr & Miss WELL

DRESSED. The winners of the Ramp Walk were Miss Shreya Sheetal Kumar

and Master. Anurag Mahesh.

The secretary, principal and staff came together with the ceremony passing

the lamp of knowledge to Grade-X students to move ahead progressively

igniting the spark within always.

The video prepared by Grade-IX students provided the glimpse of the years

spent by our Grade-X in the school and their mischief made everyone

nostalgic. The students and the staff alike applauded the efforts put in by the

students of class-IX, which was well reflected in the video- „Behind the

Scenes‟.

In conclusion, Grade-IX students sang the farewell song.

The Farewell Function symbolically expressed - Token of love to all the

outgoing students.

Summing up, the day was great, filled with nostalgia and fun and excitement!
