Decisions taken by WGI at its meeting on 14-15 April 2014

• Include a new section on reporting trends in the 7th report on the implementation of the Convention (report for COP-8)

• Mention countries that submitted their reports on time to encourage timely submission in the future

• Reports that were not submitted before the WGI meeting cannot be considered for the preparation of the 7th report

• Secretariat and WGI Chair to send official letters to Parties and Non-Parties to:• Inform them that they did not comply with the reporting

requirement of the Convention• Explore reasons for non-submission• Encourage them to submit their report before COP-8
