History Research group Electronic Commerce and Internet Application terbentuk

melalui perkembangan evolusi yang dinamis sesuai perkembangan penelitian dan bisnis

Pembentukan diawali pada akhir tahun 2009 dimana penelitian pertama berkaitan dengan penelitian online survey produk IPTV Telkom

Perkembangan berikutnya, lembaga yang pertama terbentuk adalah Digital Marketing pada awal tahun 2010

Penelitian bersama Telkom pun berkembang pada tahun-tahun berikutnya seperti Online Survey IPTV Telkom 2010, Online Customer Satisfaction and Loyalty System Suvey, dll.

Kerjasama pun sudah terbentuk dengan beberapa pihak antara lain PT. Sigma Cipta Caraka dan PT. Infomedia Nusantara.

Perkembangan pun tak terbantahkan lagi dengan terbentuknya Digital Marketing dan Technopreneur yang mencoba mengarahkan pada penelitian yang sifatnya untuk tujuan komersial (commercial purpose) pada tahun 2011

Tahun 2012 merupakan tonggak penegasan arah group penelitian ke arah Electronic Commerce dan Internet Application yang meletakkan digital marketing sebagai bagian dalam kurikulum Kelompok Penelitian Electronic Commerce . Selain itu, penelitian ini tidak membatasi berkenaan penelitian aplikasi interner yang berorientasi bisnis.

E-commerce and Internet Application is

a multi-disciplinary area, which should be developed in co-operation with existing fields such as Information Systems and Technology; Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain Management; Business Strategy and Management; Information Metrics Analysis; Digital Marketing; Electronic Customer Relationship Management; Marketing Research; Public Policy; Computer Science and Telecommunications; and Legal Studies.
