Preface:
Before going to conduct this project, we had the several questions in mind.
Our main objective regarding this report was to know about the present condition
of our country and economic condition of the society. As a matter of social policy,
consistent, good daycare may ensure adequate early childhood education for
children of less skilled parents. From a parental perspective, good daycare can
complement good parenting. We try to find out the reasons behind the people are
getting intersected to send their child in day care centers? What kind of facilities
they are getting from that child cares? All the child cares are ensuring the basic
education for the children’s? So our objective was-
To identify, how much popular all this day care concept in our country. To identify why the people are sending their child to children day care
centers.
To identify either the day care centers are ensuring the facilities properly
or not.
To identify that those day care are giving the basic education for the
children or not.
Advantages of these day care centers.
Few disadvantages of the day care centers.
To identify what types of culture basically they follow in there
organizations.
To find out all the areas of the day care centers in urban area of Bangladesh we get interested to go for this topic of the research.

Background:
Day care or child care is care of a child during the day by a person other
than the child's legal guardians, typically performed by someone outside the
child's immediate family. Day care is typically an ongoing service during specific
periods, such as the parents' time at work. During the last decade, the Bangladeshi
economy has been gradually progressing. One of the reason of this is that women
are getting more and more educated now a days then before. They are
contributing in each and every single sector of the working field of the
Bangladesh. To maintain their family they are getting interested to share their
responsibilities to house hold to grown up their child.
For the working women child day care centers are most popular place to
keep their children for the whole day. And that is the most reliable place for them
to keep tension free and concentrate on the work.
Is the provided education are enough for the children’s to get
admonition in any school?
All the babies are getting equal facility in the day care centers?
How much popular all this day cares are in our country?
Independent studies suggest that good day care for non-infants is not harmful.
Some advocate that day care is inherently inferior to parental care. In some cases,
good daycare can provide different experiences than parental care does, especially
when children reach two and are ready to interact with other children. Bad day
care puts the child at physical, emotional and attachment risk.
As a matter of social policy, consistent, good daycare, may ensure adequate early
childhood education for children of less skilled parents. From a parental
perspective, good daycare can complement good parenting.

We identified these independent variables:
1. how many children they usually keep in one day care
2. how mush costly those are
3. facilities
4. educational support
5. entertainment
6. environment
Methodology of the Research
The research the researchers wish to conduct will follow an extensive methodology.
There are two types of data we can use. These are
Primary Data Secondary Data
For this research we only use primary data.
It is conducted to gain insight into how the target audience thinks and
makes decisions about the subject of interest as a prelude to a larger survey. An
exploratory research helps shape the survey objectives, sampling plan,
questionnaire and other important aspects of the study. Survey research is often
referred to as “confirmatory”. This does not mean that the survey research does
confirm the findings from the focus group. It means that the survey is capable of
validating the focus group findings. The survey may confirm or disconfirm the
findings from the focus groups. For descriptive output we will use different scales
and tests to get some relations and some regression formula development. When
we will get some conclusive information we can go for some regression analysis
and can present the research findings.

Fieldwork/Data Collection:
The next step in the research process is to choose a research method best
suited to meet the objectives of the research study. We will select a number of day
care centers in Dhaka to complete the survey.
Data collection methods will different from qualitative and quantitative
research studies. Qualitative research relies on focus groups or in-depth personal
interviews of some of parent. Both have similar goals and use a similar method.
Quantitative researches most commonly we will take form the parent of the
child’s who are taking facility of the day care centers for this research and the
data will be collected using face-to-face interviews.
As this research targets to define the level of satisfaction with the service among
the parents and day care center instructors, the first and foremost focus will be the
users of this facility. For conducting this research, the population is the entire
working parent.
Once the sample is chosen or selected from the day cares, the respondents
will each be provided a questionnaire containing extensive and relevant questions.
The individuals will have to choose the most appropriate answer for every
question from the set of alternatives provided in the questionnaire. All the
questions would be Close-ended ones having several options for each question. In
some questions, Semantic Belief Scale & Likert Chart will be used. At most, the
questionnaire will contain 20 to 30 questions concerning parents’ perception, &
expectation from the day care service providers.
Data Analysis:
After collecting data, those will be sorted, entered and tabulated with the
help of computers. Once the data input is completed, statistical software SPSS and
MS Excel will be widely used to analyze the collected data to find out specific
characteristics and finding a regression analysis of the responses.

Reporting and Presentation
The research proposal should also describe how the report will be
organized and distributed. If the research findings will be formally presented to
the decision maker and or other audiences, the research proposal should describe
the general presentation plan. We will make a report on the basis of true survey
and present it to the decision maker. Several graphs, charts and diagrams will be
featured in the research to portray a clear picture about the level of parents
satisfaction and related topics. Then, several specific findings will be generated to
project a clear picture concerning the research topic. In addition to that, some
recommendations will be prescribed at the end of the research to benefit both the
parents and day care center authority.
At the end of this time, a written format of the whole research will be
submitted to the proper authority, in this case to Biswas, Buddha Dev, the course
instructor of the course Research and methodology, Department of Social
Science, American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).
