The Researchers Dataset (RDS) provides annual averages of all of the metrics affecting composite (Table 2B), political (Table 3B), financial (Table 4B) and economic (Table 5B) risk for the period from 1984 through the last full calendar year. It covers 140 countries and is very popular among researchers for its ease of use and timelines.

Our publications are used extensively by colleges and universities worldwide, businesses and investors, private equity groups, and all of the main multilateral institutions. From an academic perspective, a range of political and economic phenomena have been distilled through the use of our data, producing significant contributions to the literature in a variety of disciplines.

Researcher Dataset (ICRG Table 2B – Composite Risk Only): Annual averages of the composite risk rating, an element of ICRG’s Table 2B, from 1984 through the last full calendar year. ICRG’s composite risk scores aggregate the political, financial and economic ratings for each country’s overall risk.
