* The first sitting commenced with the playing of National Anthem.

** Originally, the Session was scheduled to conclude on 30 August, 2006. However,the session concluded on 25 August, 2006, as per the decision taken in the meetingof Hon'ble Speaker with Leaders of Parties held on 28.7.2006 to cancel the sittingsfixed for 28th, 29th and 30th August, 2006. In order to compensate the loss of timedue to cancellation of above sittings it was decided that the House will sit late upto8 p.m. daily from 1st August, 2006 to 18th August, 2006 which was accepted by allLeaders of Parties. The sitting ended with the playing of National Song.
