RECOMMENDATION 1 - CERTIFICATED PERSONNEL A. RETIREMENT (Indicates that the employee’s application for retirement has been approved by STRS, effective the first day of the month. This recommendation is being made because the employee has completed the term of their employment, or due to disability status, or by mutual agreement. There is no mandatory retirement age for employees.) RECOMMENDATION 3 – MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

The Board approves a Memorandum of Understanding with the Cincinnati Federation of Teachers for

the 2020-21 school year, ESY and Summer Learning programs. CPS teachers will receive a per diem

hourly rate working Summer Learning 2021. This includes ESY teachers, College Credit Plus teachers,

related services, and compensatory service providers. The parties agree that this is non-precedence

setting.

RECOMMENDATION 4 – MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING The Board approves a Memorandum of Understanding with Local 232, Ohio Council 8, American

Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees for the 2020-2021 school year, ESY and Summer

Learning programs. CPS will pay Paraprofessionals, Licensed Practical Nurses, Security Assistants,

Food Service Helpers and Lunchroom Managers an additional two dollars ($2) an hour for these

programs this year. Paraprofessionals and Student Service Assistants who are assigned to work the CPA

August Jump Start program will also receive an additional two dollars ($2) an hour for this program this

year. Monitoring pay for these programs will remain the same as detailed in the AFSCME Collective

Bargaining Agreement.
