  • El II Encuentro Internacional de Origami Facatativ 2014, es un evento organizado por la Secretara de Cultura y Juventud en el marco de la X Semana Cultural Internacional que se plante como una oportuni-dad para la integracin de saberes y experiencias de artistas, profeso-res y practicantes del origami como insumo principal para la construc-cin de conocimientos en torno a la papiroflexia.

    El Encuentro Internacional de OrigamiFacacativ 2014, para su segundaversin presentala primerarevistadigital de coleccin de mo-delos 2014, con esta iniciativa se pretende garantizar el acceso de la comunidad a travs de medios electrnicos al trabajo de los origamis-tas locales, nacionales e internacionales que forman parte de la mis-ma;en su contenido podemos apreciar diversas obras que contienen la expresin individual de los artistas para quienes una o varias piezas de papel constituyen una extensin de su libre expresin y medio de comunicacin.

    Para esta segunda versin, damos un agradecimiento especial al Alcalde de la ciudad Orlando Buitrago quien a travs de su gestin ha logrado la permanencia de los procesos de la escuela de origami en el municipio de Facatativ y con ellos la vinculacin de la comunidad a los mismos, garantizando con esto el conocimiento, reconocimiento y apropiacin de esta disciplina en muchos sectores de la ciudad; a Jaime Humberto Basabe Murillo - Secretario de Cultura y Juventud, quien crey en esta iniciativa y ha brindado su apoyo y respaldo tota-les y quien ha acompaado a la escuela en su crecimiento, tambin agradecer a la Corporacin Universitaria Agraria de Colombia UNIA-GRARIA y a la Asociacin Cundinamarquesa de Origamistas ASCU-DOR por su gran apoyo y colaboracin con el evento, a cada uno de los artistas que decididamente formaron parte de esta iniciativa, y a todos aquello quienes han formado y forman parte activa de esta gran comunidad de origamistas que cada da se fortalece ms.Esperamos que este contenido sea de agrado para sus lectores, una herramienta de aprendizaje y un elemento de crecimiento personal.

    Este modelo surge a partir de un pedido de una amiga, as que decid disearlo para ello deba de utilizar una base que me prestara las ventajas de utilizar el cambio de color en las orejas y en la cola, luego de examinar las dimensiones del modelo, saba que tena que utilizar una base pez modicada.     A mi beb Andrs le encantan los Rompecabezas o puzles, que son juegos de mesa cuyo es formar una gura combinando correctamente las partes de sta, que se

    encuentran en s pedazos o piezas planas. No conozco un modelo de Origami o Rompecabezas 2D, por eso decid crear uno, a pesar de que no soy muy amigo de los modulares. Trat de hacerlo muy sencillo pero que cumpliera tres requisitos: 1) qu todas las piezas que lo conformaran fueran elaboradas a r de cuadrados del mismo tamaoy a r de una misma Base; 2) qu las piezas fueran completamente planas y no fcilmente desarmables (cerradas); y, 3) qu el modelo a formar o ensamblar fuera lo ms sencillo, comn y didc sible.

    El modelo se compone de 9 guras realizadas a r de una misma Base, de las cuales solo una se repite (dos veces).

    La Figura 3 se pliega de forma similar que la Figura 1.

    La Figura 6 se pliega de forma similar que la Figura 4.Las Figuras 7 y 9 son iguales, solo cambia su posicin en el puzle.

    I usually perform this model following the Pop-up Housewife (page 114) and Pop-up Househusband(page 118). Hold up the closed card and say, What kind of house is this? To whatever the audiencesays, respond, No, this is Batmans house. Should we open it? [Audience says, Ya.] I thinkwed better knock on the door first. Ready, set, everyone say, Knock, knock! [Knock on thehouse as the audience says, Knock, Knock!] Peek into the closed card and say, Hmm, looks likehes not home. Well, then, lets open it. Ready set everyone say, Pop-up! [Audience says,Pop-up!] Open the card and exclaim, Its Batman! But the MAN left, so now its just the BAT!Everyone flap your wings like a bat!

    The Starbird is a Star!The Star Bird has popped up and is waiting for the chanceto dance. Repeatedly open and close the card and the birdwill do a dance. To transform the bird into a star, open thecard, pulling it as wide as possible, and, in a sudden motion,turn the model over.

    Open the card and ask, Whats this? [Audience says, A bird.] Respond, No, its a starfish. [Audienceraises eyebrows.] Turn it around so that the audience sees the star, and say, Well, I guess it does look
