IEDC is an initiative to mentor innovative ideas from students and nurture them to become entrepreneurs. It is the brain child of the Department of Science & Technology, Government of India and is closely monitored by The National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB).DSCE is one of the esteemed Host Institutions to have been selected as Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre. IEDC provides platform for ideation and skill development through various activities. Pre incubation facility provides support to convert idea to Proof of concept (POCs)/prototype stage along with funding and mentoring. The technology business incubation (TBI) supports at various levels from prototype level to launching market ready products at DERBI Foundation. These facilities are supported by various agencies like DST, NEN,MSME-BI, etc.
