Machinery occasional survey

During this survey, the operation of azimutal thrusters was checked to confirm proper repairs of oil leaks i.w.o. inlets of propulsion shafts. After satisfactory results, recommendation 5.1 of machinery annex was deleted. According ZF service report of propulsion units: STB gear set with pitting on one tooth is no serious damage for now but in the near future the gear set need to be changed. A new gear set is approximately 16 weeks delivery time. Recommendation 1.1 of machinery annex was issued for repair/renew of STB Propulsion unit gear set with limit date 31/05/2012.
