• 24 existing SBR tanks, 12 per level, 13,500 m3 each
• Original plan was to operate the plant in carbonaceous mode and construct a deep sea-outfall and dump in sea outside the estuary
• Irish Water selected Nereda for upgrade and extension based on interaction with other endusers and the very significant cost advantages.
