sign, tiki bar art, Old Florida set up.
I haven’t painted one with a mermaid
yet..but they’d made a great hair
clasp.

This is a big sign I put together with Alan. It has
his signature on the bottom left. Alan committed suicide
in Key West in 2008.
This sign is at Star Fish Company in Cortez, Florida.
It is a warning for boaters to watch out for crab traps.
The restaurant owner commissioned it after one of
her commercial fishing boats got tangled up.

This is a custom sign that has a funky Blue Crab on it. It is an address sign that Is now on the east coast of Florida.

While I sort of started painting a somewhat realistic Blue Crab…the Blue Crabs became a rainbow of their crab selves. The Blue Crab is the major local crab besides Stone Crabs. Well, there are spider crabs which are apparently considered tasty in Italy, but aren’t even used for bait by locals.
I’ve spent many a day crabbing sitting on the side of a bridge, drinking cold beer and pretending to fish.
Catching a buzz is still fishing…right?
