Dragon Quest TrailEvery Day: Normal Garden Opening Wretched trolls have stolen Drusilla the Dragon’s fire, join the magical quest and reunite this friendly Dragon with her flames!

Sow and Grow Workshops: Healing Herbs and Edibles Mondays and Tuesdays: 11am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pmHealth and energy are important on any quest; plant up healing herbs and nutritious food, so that you’re always prepared for an adventure. Different plants will be sown each week of the holidays, so make sure you come back!

Birds of Prey Display and Flying Shows Friday 1 & Saturday 2 AugustDisplay: 10am – 4pm. Flying Shows: 12pm & 2pm. Ryan Stocks, Head Falconer at Owl Adventures, will be inviting you to meet his magnificent birds of prey. Duck down as the birds fly overhead and catch food in Ryan’s interactive flying shows, which will be running at select times.

Orienteering Adventure Friday 8 August: 10am – 4pmQuests are made even easier when you know where you’re going. Learn important navigation skills on this mini-orienteering course, and find your way around the garden so you can complete your adventure in good time.

Archery DayFriday 15 August: 10am – 4pmWith your eyes focussed and bow and arrow steady, learn the ancient art of archery and arm yourself with an essential skill for quests.

Great Garden Quest Interactive ShowsFriday 22 & Saturday 23 August:10.30am, 12.30pm, 2.30pmAn interactive family friendly performance written especially for the RHS by Entertainingly Different. A magical journey set against the spectacular backdrop of RHS Garden Harlow Carr, where you’ll come face to face with a host of enchanting characters who will be your guides for this mystical quest. Woven with stories, original songs and live music, this fantastical adventure is suitable for the young and old alike.

Photography Day Friday 29 August: 10am – 4pmLocal photographer Kirsty Mattsson will be onsite with a pop-up photography studio to take family and children’s portraits in the beautiful setting at Harlow Carr. Prints will be available for purchase upon request.

The Pantaloons Outdoor Theatre: ‘A History of Britain’ Tuesday 29 July, Doors open 6.30pm. Performance starts 7.00pm Combining the irreverent sketch comedy style of Horrible Histories with snippets of Shakespeare and other literary accounts, this show races around through the centuries with The Pantaloons’ distinctive chaotic energy.
