How is this possible? 3) An encyclopedia consists of ten volumes (sitting next to each other, in order, on a shelf). Each volume contains one thousand pages. Excluding the covers of each volume, how many pages are between the first page of the encyclopedia and the last? 4) What do you call a man who was born in Columbus, raised in Cincinnati, and died in Chicago? 5) If you had one match and entered a room in which there was a kerosene lamp, an oil burner, and a wood burning stove, which would you light first? 6) If a doctor gave you three pills and told you to take one every half hour, how long would they last you? 7) Divide 30 by 1/2 and add 10. What is the answer? 8) In North Carolina, is it legal for a man to marry his widow's sister? 9) There was once a soldier who had a brother that was wounded in battle. But, the wounded man did not have a brother! How could that be? 10) If a red house is made of red bricks and a yellow house is made of yellow bricks, what is a green house made of? 11) Alice and Kimberly are chatting in the living room. Alice gets an idea and says, “I can make you get out of that chair by the time I finish running 3 circles around you” Kimberly says, “Easy, you’ll pinch me and force me to get up” Alice says, “No, I won’t even touch the air around you. I will make you get up by your own will” Kimberly accepts the challenge. Alice wins, how did she do it? 12) While on my way to St. Ives, I met a man with seven wives.

When books are arranged in a library, the first books first page is at the right and the last books last page is at the left. 4) Dead! 5) The match stick! 6) 1 hour. You would take one the moment he gave you and the other 2 at an interval of half an hour. 7) 70. You get 25 when you divide 30 by 2. Easy one, Im sure you got it right. Right? 8) No, because hes dead! 9) The soldier who had a wounded brother was a girl 10) Glass!!!! 11) Alice runs around the chair two times and then says, Ill be back next week to run around a third time! 12) One me! I never said the others were going to St. Ives did I? Ok, thats all for now!
