RIGGING SCREWS

Rigging Screws are used to provide a means for length adjustment and tensioning. They are used

with guys for masts, towers, tall structures and engineering applications. Their elongated eye or

clevis end fi ttings allow easy connection to shackles and wire rope assemblies. The enclosed

section of the body provides a reservoir for lubricant to protect the threads from corrosion, making

them ideal for permanent outdoor use or in a marine environment.

Regular proof coil galvanised chain

Proof Coil Chain is manufactured from low carbon steel and is commonly used for

agricultural, industrial, manufacturing, marine and general engineering applications

• Available packed in 50kg pails, 500kg drums or cut lengths.

• Chain is available in self colour, hot dip galvanised and zinc fi nish.

NOT SUITABLE FOR LIFTING APPLICATIONS.

Manufactured in a short link confi guration meeting the requirements of Australian

Standard AS2321, Grade L Chain is the highest quality lower tensile steel available for

lifting purposes and recommended for most marine and mooring applications.

LOCKABLE GRIPPLES

New, innovative, lockable system for securing wire ropes - quickly.

The Lockable Gripple now makes catenary and bracing wire rope installation

easier and faster. The Lockable Gripple is designed to secure the ends of wire

ropes by simply pushing them through the Gripple in one continuous loop.

Hands free, the integral locking screws can be tightened to ensure total security

under dynamic load conditions.

The unique locking screw design combats the

effects of wind-gallop a typical feature of outside

applications.

Once the wire rope length and tension have been

set, tightening the lock screws fi rmly secures the

internal locking wedges immovably in place.

As well as preventing wear this feature allows the

product to be used on both steel and fi bre core

wire rope constructions.
