In his current role, Sco is directly responsible for all clients in Pennsylvania and Delaware, including profit/loss management, strategic planning, operaons, and overall service experience. Sco effecvely leads a diverse team of healthcare professionals and is accountable for the aggregate maintenance, growth and increased profitability of exisng business, the acquision of new business on exisng accounts, overall customer sasfacon, comprehensive service performance, clinical and financial reporng, and the total strategic direcon of enforce accounts. Sco joined UnitedHealthcare in 2003 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and prior to his current posion he worked in various sales and account management roles both with medical insurance and also specialty benefits including dental, life, vision, disability and stop loss insurance. Prior to UnitedHealthcare, Sco was with Highmark Blue Cross & Blue Shield in Pisburgh, Pennsylvania. Sco is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundaon and from 2009-2011 was the Chairman of the Philadelphia Walk to Cure Diabetes.Sco is a key volunteer for mulple organizaons within the Archdioceses of Philadelphia; including a Board Member for the Archbishops Christmas Benefit For Children, and a member of the Financial Development Commiee for St Charles Borromeo Seminary. Sco is an acve member of The Union League of Philadelphia, the Greater Philadelphia Health Underwriters Associaon, the Pennsylvania Employee Benefits Associaon and other professional associaons. Sco is involved with a variety of charity and other nonprofit organizaons including Salisbury Behavioral Health & Growth Horizons, March of Dimes, Big Brothers & Big Sisters, LEADERSHIP Philadelphia, YMCA of Philadelphia, St Johns Hospice, Susan G Komen, among others. Sco is also a past member of the Penn State Alumni Associaon Board of Directors. Sco holds a Bachelors Degree in Finance from the Smeal College at Penn State University, and a Masters of Business Administraon (MBA) from Villanova University. Scott S. Johnson is the Vice President of Account Management at

UnitedHealthcare. In his current role, Scott is directly responsible for all

clients in Pennsylvania and Delaware, including profit/loss management,

strategic planning, operations, and overall service experience. Scott

effectively leads a diverse team of healthcare professionals and is

accountable for the aggregate maintenance, growth and increased

profitability of existing business, the acquisition of new business on

existing accounts, overall customer satisfaction, comprehensive service

performance, clinical and financial reporting, and the total strategic

direction of enforce accounts.

Stop by the bake sale table in the Alter Hall Lobby and treat your

RMI Friday Workshop: Young Alumni Panel Friday, March 14, 2014 - 12-12:50pm - Speakman 112

Young alumni of Sigma Chapter will be present to answer

members’ questions about what to expect as one enters the

insurance industry. This workshop will help Risk Management &

Insurance students better prepare for their internships and

fulltime positions. Students should come prepared with questions

as this workshop is designed to be highly interactive.

Actuarial Science Friday Workshop: Intern Presentations Friday, March 14, 2014 - 12-12:50pm - Speakman 113

The “Intern Presentations” feature students’ presentations on their summer internships. It is important to get the facts from a third party in addition to the company's information when considering that company's offer. Students will discuss their responsibilities as interns, the perks and drawbacks of the intern programs, and how they got their internships followed by an evaluation of their overall experience. There will be plenty of time for members to ask questions to the presenters at the end.
