James P. Bucko, Owner & Managing PartnerJim graduated from Purdue University Calumet in 1993 with a BS in Restaurant, Hotel & Institutional Management. Jim successfully managed Food & Beverage and Engineering Departments, Restaurants, and Hotels for over 22 years for companies such as Radisson, Marriott and White Lodging before joining Riverhouse Hospitality in 2005 as an owner and managing partner. Jim’s extensive experience in management and sales as well as facility maintenance makes him uniquely qualified to lead the effort in uncovering new ventures. With hand-picked General Managers running day-to-day operations, Jim oversees their continued growth and success while looking for the the next big opportunity for our renowned off-site ventures, Riverhouse Catering, Riverhouse Café Services and the parent company Riverhouse Hospitality.
Mark L. Poole, Owner & Managing PartnerMark graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, NY in 1989 with a BS in Hotel/ Resort Management, and then in 1994 with an MS in Hotel/Tourism/Service Management. Mark has worked for hospitality companies such as Holiday Inn, Hyatt, Marriott, Radisson and the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. His broad experience includes positions as Director of Sales & Marketing, Food & Beverage Director, and development of Riverside Productions, the off-site catering arm of the Convention Center. At the Radisson Star Plaza & Theater he worked for two years as Resident Manager, overseeing capital budgeting, renovations, and day-to-day resort operations. Mark continues this level of oversight today for Riverhouse Hospitality as well as a being a key member of our evaluation team.
Trevor E. Furrer, Owner & Managing PartnerTrevor graduated from Pace University in 1992 with a BA in Business Administration. Trevor began with Citibank in 1988 as a mortgage counselor. After obtaining NASD brokerage licenses, Trevor went on to manage investment and credit portfolios for high net-worth clients through Citicorp Investment Services. Trevor has also provided investment planning and brokerage services for clients within seven branches of First Union Brokerage Services in Fairfield County, CT. In 1998, Trevor left the banking industry to start Home Sweet Homes, LLC. Since its inception, Home Sweet Homes, LLC (HSH) has purchased, renovated, and managed over 250 residential and commercial units. Trevor uses his skill sets today bolstering the financial strength of Riverhouse Hospitality as well as the marketing function and asset evaluation.

for your special occasion. In the breathtaking Society Ballroom, you’ll discover a room of grand marble columns soaring to an exquisitely muraled ceiling, some thirty five feet above the dance floor. A sweeping staircase flows from the 3,000 square foot balcony, providing a dramatic focal point for grand entrances and photographic memories.
