Color me and turn me into a sticker.

Things You Will Need• A parent or adult• White Vinegar• White Glue (Elmer’s works fine)• Your design(s) printed out

paper (provided or make your own)• A wide brush• Tupperware container OR jar

(optional)• Little spray bottle • (Recommended)• ScissorsORX-actoBlade• Lamination sheets- to make

the stickers waterproof

STEP 1 : Color me

STEP 2 :

Turn me Into a Sticker

1. Mix your adhesive (the sticky stuff on the back to make your sticker stick) * Mix 2 Tbsp of glue with 1 Tbsp of vinegar

2. Time to make the stickers sticky. With help brush the adhesive in long, even,vertical strokes.(make sure the glue completely covers the paper). After that drys lay another coatdownhorazonialindirection.

3. After the adhesive has dried. This is the time to make the stickers waterproof if you choose. Take the lamination and apply to the front of your paper. Apply while on a flat surface and evenly. Trim the edges if needed.

STEP 3 :1. This is the fun part. Cut and stick me! After cutting me out, you can use the spray bottle to spray an even layer of water on me or lick and stick. The glue is non-toxic if you choose to lick the sticker (it just may not taste good).

Hospital HistoryChildren's Hospital started as a idea from a group of women meeting from local community parishes. The hospital finally became true March 1884 in a rented home in Walnut hills. The house was big enough for 15 patients and in the firs 8 months treated a total of 38 children. They first treated children from the ages of 1-15 years of age. In November 23 1987 thanks to J. Josiah and Thomas J. Emery the hospital moved next to Christ Hospital. It was a 3 story building big enough to help them grow. In 1903 the hospital added a wing that cost 20,000 dollars at that time. It included a chapel, large play room, and isolation ward for children with spreadable illness. The 1920’s brought massive changes, new leader William Cooper Procter who was the president of the board of trustees and a few others. Had the hospital moved to a 200 bed facility near the College of medicine. That's the location of where the hospital is now located and has grown into what is now. 2011 brought the hospitalpatients from 50 countries and 48 states. It recorded 1,087,260 patient encounters and employed over 12000 people. The hospital has grown and is still grown and becoming one of the top hospitals for children.

Follow picture by picture to fold your own mini glider. All you need is a regular sheet of paper. Have fun with it, choose a colored sheet or even color your own designs. ( Just rememebr if you are coloring your own glider color on the back side so when you flip your glider in step 5 your design is on the right side.)

It’s Time For The Kids To Cook

You Will Need:

• an adult to help you• a pitta bread for each member of the family• 1 large can of tomato

sauce• 1 bag of cheese ( Your choice )• a spoon• olive oil• 1 Cooking pan ( lightly greased)* addtional toppings optional

Don’t Forget to wash your hands before you start cooking.

1 Open the pita bread, then place onto the lightly greased

baking pan.

2Spread the olive oil onto the pita bread.

Open the can of tomato sauce. Use the back of the spoon and spread a thin layer of sauce onto the pita bread.

Ask an adult to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.


3Open the bag of cheese of your choice and sprinkle it over the sauce. Also this is the time to add addtional

toppings if you desire.

4Ask an adult and make sure the oven is preheatedand ready to go. When the Oven is ready place the baking

sheet in the oven. Cook on 350 for 10-15 mintues or until the cheese is golden brown.

5Afterthepizzaisdone.Takeoutoftheovenandletcool.Afterthepizzaiscool......CutandEnjoy!!
