The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio, upon their oath do find and present that Robert Lee Adams Jr. late of said County, on or about June 13, 2015, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2911.11 of the Ohio Revised Code, did, by force, stealth, or deception, trespass, as defined in section 2911.21(A)(1) of the Revised Code, in an occupied structure or in a separately secured or separately occupied portion of an occupied structure, located at 1623 Hudson Ave, Columbus, OH 43211, when Myra Anderson and/or Michael Ballour, a person other than the accomplice, was present, with purpose to commit in the structure or in the separately secured or separately occupied portion of the structure any criminal offense and the offender recklessly inflicted, or attempted or threatened to inflict physical harm on Michael Ballour and/or Daniel Sharp and/or Angela Harrison and/or Tyajah Nelson and/or T.N. and/or the offender had a deadly weapon or dangerous ordnance, to wit: a firearm, on or about his person or under his control.

SPECIFICATION ONE TO COUNT ONE - Firearm Specification - 3 year, §2941.145(A)The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Robert Lee Adams Jr. had a firearm on or about his person or under his control while committing the offense and displayed the firearm, brandished the firearm, indicated that he possessed the firearm, or used it to facilitate the offense.

SPECIFICATION THREE TO COUNT TWENTY SIX - Repeat Violent Offender Specification, "RVO", §2941.149(A)The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Robert Lee Adams Jr. is a repeat violent offender as defined in section 2929.01 of the Ohio Revised Code in that the instant offense involved committing, complicity in committing, or an attempt to commit an offense under an existing or former law of this state, another state, or the United States that is or was substantially equivalent to aggravated murder, murder, a felony of the first or second degree that is an offense of violence, and the said Robert Lee Adams Jr. previously was convicted of or pleaded guilty to an offense that involved committing, complicity in committing, or an attempt to commit an offense under an existing or former law of this state, another state, or the United States that is or was substantially equivalent to aggravated murder, murder, a felony of the first or second degree that is an offense of violence, to wit: on or about October 14, 2008, in the Franklin County Court of Common Pleas General Division, Franklin County, Ohio, Robert Lee Adams Jr. was convicted of or pleaded guilty to Robbery with Specification in violation of R.C. 2911.02.

The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio, upon their oath do find and present that Robert Lee Adams Jr. late of said County, on or about June 13, 2015, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2903.02 of the Ohio Revised Code, did cause the death of Tyajah Nelson, as a proximate result of the offender committing or attempting to commit an offense of violence that is a felony of the first or second degree, to wit: Aggravated Burglary and/or Aggravated Robbery and/or Kidnapping, in violation of Section 2911.11 and/or 2911.01 and/or 2905.01 of the Ohio Revised Code.

SPECIFICATION ONE TO COUNT TWENTY SEVEN - Firearm Specification - 3 year, §2941.145(A)The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Robert Lee Adams Jr. had a firearm on or about his person or under his control while committing the offense and displayed the firearm, brandished the firearm, indicated that he possessed the firearm, or used it to facilitate the offense.

SPECIFICATION TWO TO COUNT TWENTY SEVEN - Criminal Gang Activity Specification, §2941.142(A)The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Robert Lee Adams Jr. committed the felony that is an offense of violence while participating in a criminal gang as defined in Section 2923.41 of the Ohio Revised Code, to wit: Rollin 20's Crips and/or Elaine Gangster Crips and/or Crips.

The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio, upon their oath do find and present that Robert Lee Adams Jr. late of said County, on or about June 13, 2015, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2903.02 of the Ohio Revised Code, did attempt to purposely cause the death of T.N..

SPECIFICATION ONE TO COUNT TWENTY EIGHT - Firearm Specification - 3 year, §2941.145(A)The Grand Jurors further find and specify that Robert Lee Adams Jr. had a firearm on or about his person or under his control while committing the offense and displayed the firearm, brandished the firearm, indicated that he possessed the firearm, or used it to facilitate the offense.

The Jurors of the Grand Jury of the State of Ohio, duly selected, impaneled, sworn and charged to inquire of crimes and offenses committed within the body of Franklin County, in the State of Ohio, upon their oath do find and present that Robert Lee Adams Jr. late of said County, on or about June 13, 2015, within the County of Franklin aforesaid, in violation of section 2923.13 of the Ohio Revised Code, did knowingly acquire, have, carry, or use a firearm or dangerous ordnance and Robert Lee Adams Jr. had been convicted of a felony offense of violence, to wit: on or about October 14, 2008, in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas General Division, Franklin County, Ohio, having been had been convicted of of the crime of Robbery with specification, in violation of R.C. 2911.02 and/or on or about June 14, 2007, in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas General Division, Franklin County, Ohio, having been had been convicted of the crime of Attempted Assault, in violation of R.C. 2923.02/2903.13 and/or did knowingly acquire, have, carry, or use a firearm or dangerous ordnance and Robert Lee Adams Jr. had been adjudicated a delinquent child for the commission of an offense that, if committed by an adult, would have been a felony offense of violence, to wit: on or about December 6, 2002, in Franklin County Court of Common Pleas Juvenile/Domestic Division, Franklin County, Ohio, having been adjudicated a delinquent child of Assault, in violation of R.C. 2903.13 and/or did knowingly acquire, have, carry, or use a firearm or dangerous ordnance and Robert Lee Adams Jr. had been adjudicated a delinquent child for the commission of an offense that, if committed by an adult, would have been a felony offense involving the illegal possession, use, sale, administration, distribution, or trafficking in any drug of abuse, to wit: on or about July 23, 2004, in the Juvenile Court of Franklin County, Ohio, having been adjudged delinquent for the crime of Possession of Cocaine, in violation of R.C. 2925.11.
